I have a 1955 in propane powered that was just completed and looking at my 6th project and second Minneapolis moline tractor. I am unsure of this model and availability of parts and would like some help. It is a mostly complete tractor and comes with a parts tractor of similar vintage. Cast on side is UT 100 D. The plate has model 4-1/4x5283A4 and an 0194904352. Dual wheel tricycle Any help would be appreciated. I have such a hard time seeing these waste away as they have been parked fir about 14 years and are going to need work that I am happy to do. Now it's been sitting so long it has frozen up and I need to get it running again. I think the cylinders are rusted tight. Can I just take some Marvel Mystery Oil and put it in each cylinder and let it sit overnight, then try to turn the crank on the nut up front back and forth ? Lex Wed Jan 29, 2020 5:21 am Hi Folks, I have an antique Minneapolis Moline straw hat I'd like to sell, but I'm not sure of a fair price to put on it. Can someone give me a good idea of a fair price. It is in good condition with good colors in the Red print, yellow outside and green inside. It even has the original price tag on it. It does have damage to the straw in the front of the hat but otherwise is in very good condition and even has the original string for the neck. Please respond back if you have an idea. Water pump has some play in shaft but not leaking, new radiator, no leaks anywhere no water in oil, runs like a top. Any ideas? At the time your tractor was made, Moline offered 3 choices for transmissions. The tractor could be ordered with or without the Ampli-torq, or it could be ordered with the shuttle.. MxM.WI Sun Jul 23, 2017 7:20 am this site dosen't look very busy, i just bought an 1960's something big mo L500, someone was telling me it supposedly has a high and low range, but it looks like it just has a regular shuttle shift type shifting , there is a forward and reverse leaver on the left side also there is reverse on the shuttle shift.. I am having an issue with it. when i try to start it it it spits and sputters and will even give a back fire and then engine stops. one of things that i want to check id the engine timing, can anyone tell me how toi check the timing on it? it a gas engine. at this point i dont think its fuel issue, but i could be wrong.
